How can I get my hands on a hard-to-get car?

If you must have the newest and the best car that everyone else wants as well, you might have to be patient.

Here are some tips for you if you want to get your hands on a hard-to-get car:

  • Consider forgetting about it - I know that it might be impossible for you to forget about that amazing car. I know that you might have been getting signs that all lead to purchasing that one perfect car, however, consider other factors. Is this car right for you? Is this car safe? How much will I pay for my auto insurance if I get this car?
  • Cast a wide net - just because you are looking at a car that you want, and the dealer tells you that this car isn't available anymore and that there is no reason to look for it, do not believe your dealer. I think that we all know that dealers aren't the most honest people in the world, which is why they shouldn't be the most reliable. Consider looking in another dealership.
  • Go where the buyers aren't - try looking in a small town instead of a large town like Los Angeles. If you want to find a car, try looking it in small towns near your town.
  • Negotiate as much as you can - the more you negotiate the larger your chance of getting the car that you want.
  • Do not skip the test drive - if the dealer recommends a similar car to the one that you want, do not skip on the test drive. Who knows... maybe this car really is the one for you.
