How can a bad driver be characterized?
Usually drivers who have speeding tickets, moving violations and parking tickets consider themselves being bad drivers. Rules are rules and everybody should obey them no matter how clean the road is from the cars because even if the road is clean and empty, still at any moment a car may appear that will be moving against your direction.
A bad driver never respects laws. He thinks that when the roads are clean, then it is okay for them to drive however they want. If a bad driver does not see any cameras near or he wants to speed car at higher speed limit, he passes on the red light without any consideration that any car may be merging which can create an accident.
A bad driver, if he does not notice people crossing the road, will not simply stop at the stop signs. They, again, can’t realize the fact that any pedestrian just like any car may appear unexpectedly. That’s why a good driver should be very careful and make a full stop every time at the stop sign and look at the right and left side over and over again just to ensure him that it is completely self-assured to cross the road.
If a bad driver think that they can drive their own ways as long as they do not hurt others is correct, then they are mistaken because even if they do not hurt others, driving under violations will get into habit of a driver.
A good driver always keep his eyes on the road for extra safety while a bad driver keeps himself distracted by using cell phones and listen a very loud music thinking that they are professional at what they are doing and therefore do not need to pay extra attention. But not even the most experienced driver can make a minor or major mistake on the road.
Eating is strictly prohibited in the car because it distracts even more than a cell phone. Even if a driver has a strong urge to eat something, he might just pull over and have a snack. Both drivers’ hands should be on the stirring wheels and not only something else.
When a driver looks for a parking space, you need to make sure that you do not slow so much that other drivers behind you barely can drive because an accident may occur because of that. Only a bad driver, while looking for a parking space, does care who is in front or behind him. You, as a good driver, should be considerate and do not create a dangerous situation even if you are looking for a parking space.
It may be true that cars such as SUVs may block the view and therefore it will be hard to see what is going on the roads for drivers who are in small cars. But still it does not give any driver, especially a bad driver, to violate any rules. A driver should be patient enough on the road even if he feels that something is blocking his way.
Never make rude gestures to any other driver even if you feel that he is not acting right or violate something. It can be not only dangerous but also you can also create a bad quarrel where you may be stuck until somebody will decide to sue someone. Only a bad driver can shut their eyes while driving. No matter how sleepy can you go, never ever close your eyes while driving. That’s why you should never take any medications that can cause dizziness. If you know that it is still possible for you to close your eyes, take a caffeine drink and keep it in your car in order to stay awake and alert.
