What to do in case of an Accident? Follow these steps:

  1. Be calm. Do not leave the scene.
  2. If you or other parties are injured and need help, call 911.
  3. Call the police to report the accident.
  4. Do not admit fault even if you think you are at fault.

Note: You may try to call police or highway patrol. If they agree to come, just wait, otherwise offer to exchange information. If you are on a freeway, use roadside phones monitored by the highway patrol.
