Why is it that motorcycles are more dangerous than cars? What are the death rates of motorcyclists?
Driving a motorcycle is often not safe for people to drive. Many consumers who drive motorcycles have a variety of reasons why they shouldn’t. Here are some of those reasons:
Many of the consumers who drive motorcycles don’t have the necessary insurance. Either they pay too much for their auto insurance, which that gives them the idea that they are covered no matter what, or they are underinsured which also has its side effects. People who drive motorcycles aren’t aware of their vehicle quite yet. Many of the people who decide to drive motorcycles don’t know many of the features, or don’t follow the speed limit.
People who drive motorcycles don’t wear the necessary gear. This gear includes wearing a helmet, protective gear including eye protection, jacket, full-fingered gloves, long pants, and high-top boots or shoes.
Consumers who are on motorcycles don’t watch out for hazardous road surfaces, such as gravel or wet pavement. Keep in mind that these types of road surfaces will affect motorcycles in a harsher way that cars.
