Why does medical insurance malpractice still exist today?

Insurance for medical malpractice has increased. The prices were increasing because of the claims. According to statistics of 2005, medical malpractice remains have risen steadily annually while claims were falling.

Unfortunately, many doctors create medical mistakes, like wrong diagnosis, with the health of their patients. But fortunately, insurance covers that and injured patients get compensated.

According to some study research, in 2006, medical practice lessens. Medical malpractice is the result of negligent doctors who are not willing or careless to care about their patients. In 2005, Bush Administration made a claim regarding the lack of discipline of incompetent doctors; malpractice appears in this nature.

They also said that patients should be protected against doctors’ practical experiments on their patients. And if that will be done so, the medical malpractice would lessen.

Unfortunately there are too many patients today that are victims of malpractices. Medical malpractice resulted in an unreasonable death of patients. People make many complaints about those cases.

Patients sue them for the caused injuries. They try to remove those doctors by all kind of complaints but it is not even costly to do so. Many times it is too hard for them to remove licensed doctors.

As a result of so many complaints, the legislation was passed creating a network for reporting medical errors.  In 2006, Washington State Gov. made doctors who caused medical malpractices officially to apologize for their mistakes to their patients. Because of so many mistakes caused by doctors, costs for malpractice totaled $27.7 billion.

It is obvious that doctors refuse of being accused of negligence. They think that in order to produce more accurate and sufficient medical diagnosis, they need more tests and medications. Unfortunately, if medications are prescribed not accordingly, massive health problems in a patient will be created. According to statistics of 2006, health insurance premiums rose 8.8%.

According to some study research, those licensed doctors who practiced malpractice more than three times would have their medical license taken away from them. Courts of law are dealing more and more with those medical malpractice cases.

To make sure that those mistakes do not get repeated, many states required to report medical errors by health care facilities.

According to Harvard study, medical malpractice becomes rarer. The compensations to patients also declined by 15%.
