How good is the coverage?

This is the most important question that you can ask yourself. If you get a health insurance plan with the best coverage you will never have to worry about any out of pocket costs. But with that being said, you will have to pay a higher monthly premium.

What type of plan is best for me?

You can choose from an HMO, PPO, or Indemnity plan. Each one offers its own level of benefits. You need to know what each one offers so that you can make the best decision possible.

Does the plan work with the doctors that you currently use?

If you need to switch doctors if you buy a certain health insurance plan you may want to reconsider. But if you do not mind switching, this is not that big of a deal.
