Health Insurance Debacle

What the United States is facing right now could easily be classified as a health insurance debacle; and that would be putting it mildly. There are many issues within the health insurance industry, and this is only the start. The health care industry is also struggling. Do you see a pattern developing here? It is very important for these issues to get fixed at once. If they don't, things are only going to get worse for many more Americans.

But how much worse can things get? Right now, more than 47 million Americans are living without health insurance. This is a huge number, and one that is unfortunately growing. There are ways to bring this number to a more reasonable level, but at this time it does not appear that this is going to happen anytime soon.

There is more than one reason why so many people are living without health insurance. For instance, the cost of coverage is increasing. This is causing many people to cancel their coverage, while also forcing many others to never purchase in the first place. Unless the cost of health insurance is drastically reduced, this part of the problem is never going to get solved.

Can we rely on the next president? Some people say yes, others say no. Of course, any change at this point would be for the better. Expect the next president to consider every option, and in turn take the necessary steps to better the health insurance situation in the United States.
