How the Next President will Effect Health Care

The current state of the health insurance and health care industries in the United States is not good. Things have gotten progressively worse over the past few years, and it is time for a change to be made. Of course, this responsibility is going to rest on the shoulders of the next president, whoever it may be. For this reason, voters who have not had the easiest time with health care in the past are listening to every word that each candidate mutters.

As expected, each presidential candidate, regardless of party, has a "concrete' health care plan in place. While each one of them is saying their plan is the best, it is actually up to the voters to decide.

Hillary Clinton is the number one backer of universal health care coverage. Although Barack Obama feels that this is also an option, he is not nearly as forceful when talking about this subject. When it comes down to it, Clinton feels that universal coverage is the only option for successfully rebuilding the health care industry.

On the other side of things, each republican candidate is against universal coverage. John McCain, Mitt Romney, and Mike Huckabee feel that forcing universal health care on Americans is a mistake. Instead, they all agree on some front that tax deductions and credits should be used to make health insurance more affordable for individuals and families.

Which presidential candidate is telling the truth about how and when they will fix the United States health care system? It is up to you, the voter, to decide. The candidate that wins the election will be faced with the tall task of making changes early on in their tenure. If they do not, it is safe to say that Americans will become unruly.

All in all, the next president will greatly effect the movement of the health care industry. The question is: will things get better or worse?
