If you are a person who takes frequent road trips, it is highly recommended that the car that you purchase is fuel-efficient and comfortable. The price range is for you to determine. Kelly Blue Book released a survey saying what the best road trip cars were.

Here are the results:

  1. Chevrolet Corvette Convertible – If you don’t plan on bringing more than one person with you during your road trip, you will be better than fine with this Chevrolet Corvette Convertible whish is a comfortable car that will be great for long trips. This car has a 400-horsepower engine and also has a money-saving 28 miles per gallon which should do you good.
  2. Chevrolet Suburban – Large SUVs like the Chevrolet Suburban are extremely comfortable for long trips and will leave you being completely satisfied, no matter what happens. Keep in mind that large SUVs are also considered to be more efficient than small SUVs.
  3. Chrysler 300 SRT8 – This car has a shocking 425 horsepower, with a 6.0 liter engine and v8 which is even better than the Chrysler 300C. This car is comfortable and is perfect for the type of person who likes to drive with a passion, rather than just the need to get from A to B.
  4. Honda Odyssey – This car has a lot of great features that will leave you happy. Amongst these features are great entertainment options (DVD players), large space, fuel-efficiency and a great navigations system. If you are going on a long road, make sure that you have the Honda Odyssey to take you there.

This luxury vehicle is more expensive than others, however, when you test drive this baby; you are going to realize that it is worth every penny. A drive in this car will be great.
  6. Land Rover LR3 – Land Rovers are known for their comfortable arrangement of seats, extreme luxury and speed. If you want a memory instead of a regular road trip, it is highly recommended that you give this a try.
  7. BMW 530i – This car is known for its large space and its great ability to make great turns and to make risky maneuvers.
  8. Mazda RX8 – A Mazda is a middle-class vehicle which won’t cost you a lot, but which will provide a great road trip and get you from A to B with much more than just car nausea.
  9. Volkswagen Phaeton – This is a great car for a family on a budget. However, keep in mind that it isn’t cheap and don’t expect it to be a fuel-saver.
  10. MINI Cooper Convertible – As long as you aren’t traveling with a lot of people, you should be fine. This car is good for road trips, but it won’t have a lot of leg space.
